My Story
Hello! I’m Nadia – the flower lover behind the blooms.
I’ve been a florist for 17 years now (how did that happen so fast?), and over the years I’ve been lucky enough to win a few awards for my wedding flowers – which still makes me smile every time I think about it.
My love of flowers started young – my parents had a business right next to a flower shop, and I used to sneak peeks inside all the time. I always fancied having my own florist one day… and here I am!
Before flowers took over my life (in the best way), I worked in health clubs – but eventually I followed my heart and made the switch to floristry. I started working from home, then opened a tiny, cute little shop in Hulland Ward, just outside Ashbourne. It gave me a real taste for shop life. Fast forward to May 2023, and I moved into a lovely big space right in Ashbourne town centre. It’s been amazing to see the business grow – and I truly love what we’ve turned the space into.
This is a real family affair too – my daughter Evie works full time with me now (you might have met her?), and my husband’s always on the go with deliveries and picking the best plants.
Flowers make me ridiculously happy – and getting to share that joy with our lovely customers is the absolute best part of what I do.
